Recently I was given the opportunity to interview the star of one of my favorite Bravo shows-- the Real Housewives of New York’s Kelly Bensimon! How excited am I today? (Very, very if you know me at all!)
Kelly is author of several books and today I am offering a giveaway of her latest work—I Can Make You HOT! The Supermodel Diet.
Kelly took time out from her busy book tour to answer a few questions:
- What is your favorite exercise?
My favorite exercise is running.
- Your book features several recipes that look really yummy. Which is your favorite and why?
My favorite recipe is the watermelon salad because it's vinegar on watermelon and that is unbelievable. I also love the supermodel salad dressing because now I can eat salad dressing, too.
- You give lots of tips on what NOT to do to lose weight but what is best tip for what you SHOULD do?
Drink water. 8 glasses of water a day. Even if you maintain the way you eat, if you drink 8 glasses of water a day you'll lose weight.
- Were you always good at managing your time or did having kids make you a more organized person?
Having kids made me a better version of me. Time away from my kids is really important.

- What was the biggest challenge in writing this book versus your previous titles?
Being open to criticism. This is me opening myself open to all of the mistakes that I made.
- Are you working on any other TV plans for the future?
Yes, We’re pitching "I Can Make You Hot" as a television show right now.

Around those three rules, Kelly constructs a 7-day plan that readers can use as a weekly guide to manage their diets and keep themselves on the path to good health.
