Shape Cover Star for September:
Jillian Michaels is on the September cover and looks amazing as always, plus she offers us a new workout—yeah!
In the past six months Jillian has become a mom twice (two-year old adopted daughter Lukensia and newborn son Phoenix) with partner Heidi Rhoades and now realizes how tough it really is for parents to put themselves first and fit in daily exercise. The fitness maven manages to eke out four workouts per week with her new mommy schedule though sometimes she has to keep them to only 30 minutes (down from her usual 90.)
Among other advice she gives to new moms is to learn how to multitask, inject exercise into everyday activities and kindness to one’s self. Jillian also informs us that she is an expert baby burper—nice!

Workout of the Month
The “Workout of the Month” for September was created by choreographer Robert Steinbacher (Equinox Fitness Clubs) and is called Deep EXtreme. In the words of Pink “Don’t get fancy, just get dancy!”
If you want to learn about someone who has a great life, read all about Stacy Kiebler who spent the summer with George Clooney in Italy, has 42” long legs and can eat all of the pasta she wants. (Oy vey, I need a nap now!)
