What Did We Learn This Month?
Health magazine: May 2011
What’s happening in the May issue of Health?
Health Cover Star for May:
Country singer Miranda Lambert who is in the middle of an incredible year with her first Grammy win this past February and getting hitched to fellow musician Blake Shelton at the end of this month. At 27-years old, Miranda is young woman with an old soul due to an incredible childhood raised by parents who truly believed in helping your fellow man in their time of need.
Miranda’s parents were private eyes who ran their business out of their home—take that “Hart to Hart!” As such, there were times when the Lambert family would take in victims of domestic abuse. The experience taught the singer the power of helping others and currently she and Blake have 7 rescued dogs in their home!
Here is a photo of the Miranda inside:
While on the road, Miranda keeps fit with a personal trainer and a healthy meal plan while shunning the need to be skinny. “I’m happy with my body,” says Miranda. “So many girls come up to me and say ‘Thank you for being normal,’ I’m proud of that” she adds.”
