What Did We Learn This Month?
Women’s Health: December 2012
Women’s Health Cover Star for December:
Kerry Washington who is the star of TV’s Scandal and will soon be seen in the feature film Django Unchained graces the December cover. Kerry is the first African-American woman to be the featured lead in a TV drama in almost forty years if you can believe that!
The 35 year-old actress is a political activist who campaigned for the Obamas this past year which culminated in her speaking at the Democratic National Convention in September. Kerry is also something of an “eco activist” who keeps a green-friendly home and only uses natural beauty products.
To keep healthy and sane with her crazy, busy schedule, Kerry practices Pilates. To check out her favorite routine—check out the Women's Health link here.
